Affects all turfgrass, Aster, Celosia, Chrysanthemum, Coreopsis, Delphinium, Dianthus, Gaillardia, Gomphrena, Hosta, Iberis, Candytuff, Impatiens, Marigold, Phlox, Poinsettia, Pothos, Salvia, Sedum, Snapdragon, Verbena

Symptoms:

  • Dry, sunken cankers develop on the lower stem at the soil line
  • Infection causes wilting, leaf yellowing and often plant death as plants collapse
